Fear is Your Guide
Overcoming Inner Blocks
Hello Tribe!
In previous letter we covered writing our vision for the future that will be our guide always stored in our subconscious mind. Available here: https://lauraloncaric.beehiiv.com/p/creating-gods-design
New moon is approaching (7th of May) so on that day you can tap into energy of what you’d like to call into your life and write your vision if you haven’t already 🌑
Now let’s talk about what happens after we write our vision.
Life isn’t always smooth and while experiencing our life on Earth we developed coping mechanism, limiting beliefs, inner blocks that we may, or may not be conscious of and they affect our actions in our day to day life.
In other words, we live inside of our comfort zone. Or better, in zone our ego allows us to live in.
Take a look at this illustration:

Vision of your future is out of your comfort zone. In that vision you are a different person, expanded person. Meaning, on the way you had to expand your comfort zone. You can’t achieve the vision of your future and stay in the same bubble as now. Impossible.
Imagine border of your comfort zone is built out of inner blocks stored in your ego.
On the way towards achieving your vision you will come to those blocks.
Fear/resistance arises when you come close to a certain block and you have to go through it (unlock the doors).
If you decide not to go through it, you will simply go in different direction.
You will come to another border and if you don’t go through that border either, you will keep going in endless circles of your own psyche.
In other words, you will feel stuck. Stuck in your own safe zone, running in endless loops.
For example let’s say you wanna start creating youtube videos and that’s one part of your vision. On the way there you may recognise you ego starts to wake up. “What will people say?”, “I am not good enough yet”… in other words you have fear of judgement and perfectionism stored inside of your ego blocking you from taking next steps. Now imagine you decide not to go through it…
You also want to travel alone and explore the world, but you are afraid, you’ve never done it. Resistance is strong and you decide to stay in the same place as always. Looping endlessly inside your own mind, never making a change in your life. Not a nice place to be in (although it’s called comfort zone, silly haha)
Instead of endlessly looping, we could take a different approach…
Fear is your guide
Personally, I love fear. And I strongly believe we should never hate on our fears.
Fear is a friend and a guide. It shows us a clear direction, a path we gotta take in order to achieve the next version of ourselves. We may not be aware of every block we have inside of our ego, but fear will lead us where we gotta go. On the other side of fear and resistance, is our truth. There is no way around it.
3 years ago I developed a practice that helped me so much and I wanna share it with you today.
Instead of setting a bunch of goals, I started defining my fears.
From time to time I’d make a list of all of my fears, small ones, big ones, silly ones, serious ones… all of them. It was always on my mind: “The only way forward is directly through them”. I even dedicated a page in my journal where I’d track every single time I conquered a fear and went out of my comfort zone.
When I look at that list now, I always laugh a bit, but I’m very proud. No matter how silly a fear seems now, it was once hard to overcome. This practice showed me how beautiful fear actually is and there is no reason to hate on it. Overcoming those fears lead me to person I am now and honestly, expansion never stops, there are always things to overcome and now I am happily looking forward to it.
So here is a practice for you:
Take your journal and make a list of your fears. As long as possible. Small ones, big ones, silly and serious ones...
First step towards facing your fears is defining them. You are gonna look at them, in your journal, from comfort of your home (or wherever) in a safe space. No one needs to know about it except you. The moment you name them, they become less scary, first step is already made.
You don’t need to rush into conquering all of them immediately. We are doing this to bring your fears to the surface, so you become aware of them.
In your day to day life, when you notice a fear rising, you will have more courage to conquer it because you know that’s the way towards your vision. Do it in your own pace. Also, if it’s easier for you to overcome some things with help from others, ask for help (for some of you this may actually be an inner block, like it was for me), you don’t have to do it alone. We are not on some kind of survival training here (although your ego may feel like it because it’s literally dying).
For some of you, understanding your fears may help you to go through them. In that case, for every fear you wrote down you can ask yourself questions like: Why do I have this fear? Where it originates from? When and how it developed? That way you will go deep into your subconscious mind and find a root of that fear. The more questions you add the better you will understand yourself. The more you understand yourself the more confident you become and therefore, able to go through fears.
I know how scary this can feel. First time I did this 3 years ago I literally wrote down: “I feel like I’m gonna throw up”. It’s uncomfortable and that’s ok, that’s normal, it is part of our humanness.
After some time, you’ll see how your fears change. Things you used to be afraid, now are everyday normal things. You will look back at your list and think: “Damn, I did it”.
Importance of Letting go
Now you have your vision/smaller visions and fears to help guide & unblock you. There is one thing left.
What often times tends to pull us back when we want to move forward is our attachment.
You see, you can have visions and goals, but if you are still holding onto things that no longer serve you, you can’t go on. This can be relationships, old patterns, limiting beliefs, places, old ideas…
It is impossible to expand while holding onto these things, because your expansion lays in letting them go. You are afraid to let certain things go. And what we said about fears? They are our guides to expansion. So it’s clear, you gotta let go to expand. There is no way around it.
So a final question to ask yourself in this process is:
What do I need to let go of in order to achieve higher version of myself?
Are there any limiting beliefs and old ideas you are still holding onto? Do you believe you are not worthy of getting everything you want? Do you think it isn’t possible? Do you believe those things you want are designed only for certain type of people and not for everyone? Are there any old patterns and habits keeping you stuck? Any stuck emotions you have to feel and then let go? Also those can be external things. Maybe certain relationships are holding you back, or a job, material possessions… When you connect with your intuition, you will know.
You can do the practice of letting go during final days of lunar cycle (which is now). Moon’s energy will naturally push you towards letting go, to make a fertile ground for new cycle.
It’s time to let all of it go and step into your power.
Love you so so much <3
Till next time,
Laura
